Hi, friends!
Freshly back from my third trip to Nantucket, I’m still riding the high of this very special island located thirty miles off the coast of Massachusetts. This time, I had the divine pleasure of staying for a full week, meaning I could wholly commit to the cause: eating, drinking, shopping, beach-hopping, and essentially treating it like an unpaid (and extremely self-indulgent) research trip.
I finally feel like I’ve cracked my own personal code for how to do ACK right—where to eat, what to order, which beaches to post up at, and which stores you absolutely cannot walk by without “just popping in.”
Because here’s the thing about Nantucket: for a tiny island, there are a lot of options. Everyone has their “must-do” list, but with limited days, it can feel a little overwhelming to sort through what’s actually worth your time (and your precious restaurant reservations). After a full week of back-to-back field research—which, yes, is really just a roundabout way of saying I ate an obscene amount of lobster rolls (!!)—I’m finally ready to share my fully updated, carefully vetted guide.
Whether it’s your first visit or your fifteenth, I hope this serves as a little blueprint to make your next Nantucket trip just a tiny bit easier—and a whole lot chicer. For easy viewing, I’m breaking this guide down into the three perfect days on the island, plus a category-by-category breakdown of where to go for car/bike rentals, workouts, breakfast, coffee, provisions, beach-hopping, dinner, and post-dinner drinkies.
